Despite the fact that Emily had Croup and was wheezing with every breath she was in a good mood on Easter morning. Mom was off enjoying a great 8 mile run around Middleton. On my return I found Ben, Em and Grandpa taking a walk to see all the pretty windmills displayed in the neighbors yard.
Emily is very interested in the Disney Princesses now. She had one pair of PJ's that had three of the princesses on them and she wanted to wear those PJ's every night after several nights of trying to reason with the 2 year old I decided to just add two more princess PJ's to our selection. Her Dad did a bit of research to learn the names of the said princesses. Thanks to Wikipedia we are now well informed in the Disney princess lore. The most important thing we learned is that the princess in the pink dress is Sleeping Beauty whose name is actually Aurora. Emily is very pleased that her Dad has taken such an interest in her princess obsession.
We love movie night, really who doesn't? The kids get very excited for Dad's old fashioned pop corn, and Mom's homemade chocolate malts.
I swear Ben says something funny just about everyday and you would think I could remember some of his phrases to put into a blog post but I can't. I do recall this week however when he hurt his knee as he was trying to tell us about it he said, "ohhh I hurt my bender!"

Emily loves to clean! I'm glad someone in our family does! 
Em loves her new play kitchen that she received as a two year birthday gift from Grandma and Grandpa Dockerty, I love it because her Nanny put the whole thing together all 7,000 parts!
